COINBASE COMPANY PRESENTATION & RECRUITING (OCTOBER 10th, 2018)
Coinbase hosted a company presentation, informational session and recruiting event at Michigan Ross on October 10th. Company representatives presented a brief primer on digital currencies and blockchain technology.
Coinbase is recruiting for both intern and new grad roles across the organization in engineering, design, product management, finance, marketing, communications, legal and corporate development. All students are applicable for recruitment opportunities (undergraduate, graduate and MBAs).

CRASH COURSE ON BLOCKCHAIN (APRIL 4TH, 2018)
The Wolverine Crypto Trading Finale took place on Wednesday, April 4th in Robertson Auditorium at the Michigan Ross School of Business for student-led presentations on:

2. 5 Applications of Blockchain including Banking, Healthcare and Supply Chain

THE EVOLUTION AND FUTURE OF CRYPTOASSETS & BLOCKCHAIN (MARCH 19, 2018)
Former Michigan student, Jeremy Gardner, shared his experience co-founding Augur. Augur is the world's first decentralized prediction market platform and currently the #42 cryptocurrency by Market Cap.
Jeremy spoke about (1) the evolution of cryptoassets, (2) his experience launching Augur, and (3) the future of blockchain technology.
CAREERS IN CRYPTO (FEBRUARY 19, 2018)
We learned about (1) career paths in crypto, (2) challenges on the job and (3) advice for students.

CODING A BLOCKCHAIN (FEBRUARY 13, 2018)
Blockchain technology has a host of applications outside of the scope of digital asset investments, including money transfer, voting, forecasting, real estate, healthcare and many others.
Basic programming knowledge was highly recommended, but not required. The workshop was conducted with starter code & templates provided beforehand.

For a Crash Course on Cryptocurrencies our traders presented on Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, Monero, Dash, NEO, IOTA & Vertcoin.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet the Wolverine Crypto Trading team and other students passionate about engaging in the emerging industries for crypto assets and blockchain technology.

We're a student-run organization at the University of Michigan using real money to trade in the dynamic cryptocurrency market. We are dedicated to learning about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and trading. Our team consists of undergraduates from a variety of backgrounds: Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, and more.
Students had the chance to hear about WBC (then WCT) for the first time at its launch event.
